  i posted my pic.

  (well part of it at least (am a bit shy still...) because i am not scared to be found out anymore.

  mind you i've been df'ed for nearly a year now but still had hope 'friends' would remember we were like family and realize they couldn't possibly live the rest of their lives without talking to me again....ha!

  just to let you know all jws in our area are all wide eyed and almost orgasmic over all the earthquakes in the pacific ocean/indian ocean area - the end - armagedon is just around the corner.

  there is clearly a caste system in the organization.

  there is a pecking order.

  certain classes of people did not associate with those not of the same ilk.

  They all used to blame the stopped up toilets on the Spanish but nobody really knew that in Mexico that nobody flushes paper and stuff as the pipes are usually 2 inch pipes (and clog easily) and not the 4 inch standard so it was the whities who probably did it.

  Buying a co-op--Advice Please!

  my husband and i went to open houses halfheartedly last sunday, figuring that we'd never be approved for an apartment.

  not three days later, we find out that they've accepted our offer!

  i understand the steps that come next (real estate lawyer, contract, co-op board review, etc.

  The outlook for US real estate is dismal and prices will slide in many markets until 2009. If and only if you can afford the property with a 30 year fixed rate loan then do it. Also do not be surprised if the value goes down and you cannot sell for what you bought it for until at least 2010 or 2011. That is the reality of today's real estate economy.

  i've got sore nerves in my gums.

  i've had a trapped nerve in my neck/shoulder for a few weeks and it's stiff as well.

  i think i must have subconciously adjusted my gait and now the nerves in that side of my mouth hurt.

  Bad things you did when you were a bad little JW!

  i've done a lot of bad things when i was in high school, i remember one time in 9th grade, my friends and i ditched school, went to the local mcdonalds, we were hanging out in the parking lot smoking, when this station wagon pulls up, a bunch of jw's out in service, and my mom is with them!

  so funny now that i look back but back then i thought well this will be the last time i ever see my friends.

  i've been looking for the past hour+ and only found sites that charge.

  Ok, I'll let out my secret. Call Dominos pizza. Say you want to order a large cheese pizza but call the location you think is close. It may take a few calls. Then they'll ask for the phone number and you give it and they'll say delivery to 1234 Elm Street and then you say oh wait, my buddy isn't sure what type of pizza, let me call you back in 10 minutes. You now have the address. Bingo!

  It was a joke for people from Mexico. People from the capital, the Distrito Federal (DF) are called chilangos and often they are thought poorly of and thought of as criminals as there is alot of crime in the city. So with the title of DF reform, I couldn't resist a joke.

  i've had the privelege of meeting purplesofa.

  we actually knew each other before knowing we both posted here on jwd of course, being part of the same congregation and living in the same city and all.

  I met one in Mexico and the other on the East coast of the USA. Both were wonderful people and I hope to see them again soon!
